Two hundred meters from our Hotel is the starting point for the legendary hike over the Gemmi Pass to Leukerbad. This route is a historically significant crossing between the cantons of Bern and Valais and was offered as the first guided hike in Switzerland by Thomas Cook in 1863.

At 1700m (5600 feet) elevation, Allmenalp offers an impressive mountain panorama. For those who want to discover the mountain trails, there are circular hiking trails and hiking peaks as well as the connection to the "Via Alpina" in the direction of world-famous village Adelboden.
